Do you remember a time, when you left home and realized that it rained outside?
What was your first impression?

‘’Should I come back and wait?
Do I pick up my rain cover?
Will I try to run to the underground station?
Will I call a taxi?
Are there any traffic jams on my way?
May I cancel my appointment?’’
And what if you knew that it would rain? If you would check it online or your friend would say it to you that morning.
You could take a different decision. But would you think differently?
That’s a core astrological question for me, even if it may seem out of a context. This question shows your nature. And a way you react and deal with nature of reality, like a rain, a birth, a war, a travel or a discovery.
If you knew a day before that It would rain, what would be your first thought? Order a taxi or cancel a meeting?
What feeling? Disappointment because of a new problem or a luck of knowing it in time?
What reaction? Changing plans, contemplating the reality or continuing your own life as it is?
This is not a test with a right answer, it may be multiple answers and they may certainly change for you many times.
That is what I find interesting in astrology and its relationship with psychology, astronomy, physics and metaphysics among other fields. Astrology is a tool to make questions of something very ordinary and common. Something fundamental, which became invisible, obvious and sometimes dogmatic.
It’s a tool to use and adapt in different situations. It is also an art of mastering appropriate and context interpretations.
I see a natal chart as a board game with symbols, elements and forms. Like in a gameplay, a creative process of managing cards and a choice of an appropriate act to play make a game authentic. It’s a way to manage interpretations, associations and analogies that come to mind.
A way to create a picture of your own self. It may look like a puzzle, when you try to understand how to put all these signs, planets, houses, elements, hemispheres together in a one working palace of mind.
And then it becomes a synthesis, where there are different levels and dimensions of acting and interpretation. Like in an orchestra, where a flute is silent because it is a piano moment right now. But this flute is always here in an orchestra.

Coming back to the rain, is it a rain itself that matters or your reaction to it?
You may know that it’s raining. You may take a taxi and put appropriated boots. You may leave earlier.
But if you didn’t know about rain, wouldn’t you do the same?
Or may this sudden rain be a trigger to put on surface your unconsciousness reactions and hidden characteristics?
And you’ll act even more creative that you thought about yourself. You may be late on your meeting but find a good joke, which may create even a more fortunate impression of you for others.
Or you know that it rains and someone pushes your to take a taxi, even if you know or feel that it may be traffic jams. You finally take a taxi under the pressure and then you regret when you blocked in traffic jams. And you then spend your time thinking about it on all your way instead of preparing for the meeting.
Or someone athletic advises you to run under the rain to the subway near your home. You don’t support cold but you run instead of taking a taxi. You then get sick for a one week and lose an opportunity presented on a meeting anyway.
What I try to say is that running for the predictions and planets descriptions in houses is a way to structure and put the life in a pre-ordered box. A kind of an insurance.
But studying and observing your own reactions are gates to creativity, no matter how unpredictable a situation is. And a way to be capable to run and extend your own nature instead of running out from it.
I think that often when someone wants a clear answer about his marriage or a capacity to launch a business, it’s more about inner doubts, illusions and expectations. The same comes for an astrologer who gives a concrete answer or an order and explains what to do. This kind of astrological readings limits the core directions and opportunities.
I think that astrological interpretation is more a tool to understand your own personal form of living. It is also a way to study and understand how to refer to your own nature, psychic and physiological characteristics to interact with world more than escaping or fighting most of the time.
